Cart Before Weary Horse

I added a name to my short list of baby names today. Cart before horse?

I'm weary of waiting for my turn.

And worried it will never be my turn.

  1. it will be your turn. it will be my turn too. we just have to keep waiting and have patience and faith and hope. and we all have each other. I know that God did not put us here to be childless. He wants us to be happy. It will all be worth it someday. Promise. HUGS

  2. I think having names picked out helps visualize your goal, and keeps you motivated to keep going when you don't want to sometimes. I am waiting for good things for you and all the rest of the women trying to build their families via modern science.

  3. I have a page in my Choice Mom notebook that is devoted to names. So of course I don't think so ;) In fact I have two girl names (first and middle) that I love. It's the boys' names that I don't have set.
    It does help with motivation.

  4. I agree with the previous posts. Visualizing helps us really believe in our core that we will achieve our dreams. I know it's so hard sometimes. We all have our moments of doubt. But stay strong, Paige. Keep writing down all your baby names. Picture what the nursery will look like. It will help keep the doubts at bay.

  5. I agree with everyone else, Paige. I already have a boy's name picked out, and I'm pretty sure on the girl's name, too. I've had them picked out for ages! It helps me believe that one day I will really have my baby.

And we both will - I know it!

  7. I feel name lists are part of positive visualization...unfortunately my lists have gotten out of control! Big hugs to you, you'll have your turn.

  9. It is going to work out - you have only had one setback and hopefully it will work out even better now! I know it would be better if you were pg right now, but you have to trust that things will be ok. Coming from me that is hilarious! But still I think you'll be a mommy a year from now. Hang in there hon!

  10. Hi! So glad you found me. I look forward to following your story.

I picked out my baby's name years ago and we always refer to the nonexistent baby by it's name. Probably jinx's us, but it is what it is...

  11. I have names picked out too! I complined a list a long time ago before IF became an issue. It's all good though- one day we will get to call our child(ren) by their chosen names. Keep the faith Paige!!
