King of the Root Cellar
My neighbor's dog cracks me up by constantly being "King of the Hill" behind his fence. He's on top of the old root cellar (see the white wooden "entrance" to the right). I tried to get closer but he'd come down to defend his territory.
We have one of those in my neighborhood too. I told my nieces that hobbits lived there. We looked at pictures online and I had them convinced. They were fascinated, and only just a wee bit scared.
Something you might want to consider for your own entertainment?
I hope he's friendly! It looks like he could jump that fence from his hill if he wanted to!
ReplyDeleteWhat the heck is a "root cellar"?
woooo--I'd be 'ascared ;)
ReplyDeleteI love the picture! If I was much of a photographer, I'd love to get a picture of my girl running across the yard to me. I'd title it "Joy."
ReplyDeleteThat's so cool, the root cellar. I've never seen one. Do they actually use it?
ReplyDeleteThe dog is just plain funny.
Ohmygoodness he is one huge dog!!! Great pic!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dog, good call on keeping your distance, he looks ready to defend.
ReplyDeleteCute story! Beautiful dog too. Is this Clara's boy friend?
