9:00 I had a wonderful ultrasound with Dr. A. He tells me everything is ideal and that the chances of a miscarriage at this point are very low.
6:10p.m. At my school's open house, I begin bleeding heavily and light cramping.
6:20 I talk to Dr. A's nurse who says that the ultrasound can cause irritation that causes bleeding and cramping like this. She says to get home, get off my feet and drink water. She also reiterates that this is not likely a miscarriage since my ultrasound this morning was so good. She will call me first thing in the morning.
6:55 I arrive home and while I'm cleaning myself up, I wipe away a huge clot.
Please pray for us.
Paige I am so sorry- this is not the update I wanted to read. I am praying hard that it was just from the ultrasound and everything turns out ok. Stick little bean, stick!
ReplyDeleteI bled between weeks 8-9, every single day.
ReplyDeleteI've read COUNTLESS stories of spotting, bleeding, periods and full on clotting - over and over and over again - and the pregnancies were RARELY ever affected.
The odds are in your favor - believe it!
I'm believing that it's just the effects from the ultrasound... saying my prayers for you anyway. Breathe... relax for your precious little one. Get some sleep.
ReplyDeleteWow, I can't imagine how scared you must feel right now! It is reassuring that your ultrasound looked so good, but I'm not too sure you find it reassuring at all right now. Please keep us posted.
ReplyDeleteYou're in my prayers.
I'm so sorry you're going through this, Paige. I also truly believe it's from the ultrasound---it's too much of a coincidence and everything looked so good a few hours before.
ReplyDeleteBut just like Shannon said, I'm sure nothing will really make you feel better until it stops.
{BIG hug}
Praying for you Paige. I would lean towards this being a result of the ultrasound as well. Juts keep praying and breathing. Everything has been perfect thus far, let it remain that way. xoxoxoxox
ReplyDeleteSending you positive thoughts! I am also in the crowd assuming it must be from the ultrasound! I will continue hoping for the best!!!!
ReplyDeletepraying with all my heart and soul for you!
ReplyDeletethis isnt the update any of us wanted to read but i really really hope that it was from the ultrasound.
hugs to you at this prescious time.
hopefully you give us some great news soon.
xoxoxoxoxox
praying for you!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou and your little one(s) are in my prayers, and I'll ask for extra comfort for you during this time.
ReplyDeletePaige, you're in my prayers. Sending hugs
ReplyDeleteoh Paige. know you are on my thoughts and that I am really really hoping for good news. do you go back to the dr's tomorrow?
ReplyDeletePraying for you sweet Paige! I am glad that the ultrasound went well....
ReplyDeletePlease hang tight until you see your Dr. again. Bleeding (even with clots) is pretty common, and you had a great ultra sound. If you need to go to an emergency and get them to do an ultrasound for you to ease your mind until the nurse calls in the morning.
ReplyDeleteI have only positive thoughts for you and I'm sure all is well and your baby is just fine.
You know I'n praying for you two.
ReplyDeleteI wish there was something I could say that would your mind while you hold on.
I'll be waiting to read how you two are doing tomorrow.
(((HUGS)))
ReplyDeleteYou'll be in my prayers tonight...I'll be checking in tomorrow for sure to see how you're doing! Hang in there!!!
Praying for you!
ReplyDeleteI am praying my guts out for you. Please try to remain calm (easier said than done, I know) Try to focus on the fact that Dr. A said everything looked great, he knows his stuff. Keep us posted. Big Hugs!!
ReplyDeleteI am sorry you are going thru this scare. Please know that I'm thinking of you and sending up a prayer.
ReplyDeleteI'm sending prayers too. Hope everything settles down and you move forward with ease.
